On to Stalingrad (V)

This is an update about our summer wargame project at our club, a street fighting in Stalingrad using Troops, Weapons and Tactics, the skirmish platoon level rules of the TFL factory. I have already posted some updates on the progres of this project which is now ready to roll. I include today a couple of photos of the game table, already finished,

Before you ask, all these buildings are scaled to play with 28mm minis.

Combat teams are ready (I'll play Soviet), orders and OOB's already distributed. The first game of the campaign will take place on July 20th or 30th and it will extend  through August. Really looking forward to play this campaign very actively, as I will not have a summer break this year due to a recent change of job.

In addition to the role as one of the the Soviet commanders, I will also act as a war reporter for the campaign. Therefore I plan to post after action reports of the individual games, lavishly illustrated with photographs.

  1. I am green with envy. The terrain is beautiful. I can't wait to read the reports on this. My own collection of ruined buildings would cover 1/4 of that table at best. This will be a fun one to watch.

  3. Hello Anonymus: they are all scaled back to 28mm figures. If tiy take a look at the battle reports photos, you can make a good idea of the relative scales. I'll ask the builder in any case.

  5. I'd like to have those sizes too. Everything from windows height to width looks a bit bigger compared many other scenarios that you can see through the web but LOOKS BETTER.
The usage of building corners and metal net to create floor structure is genial
