I sometimes would like to abandon Dec 25 to consumers and move the spiritual Christmas to list of Jan 6.
That's a great list of books. Vietnam is one of those periods I love but don't game in, simply because I have enough other interests. For that reason I have never looked at CDS, for fear that it will weaken my resolve. Mind you, in ten years or so I will be retired and I will have all that spare time .... :)

Blessings and happy new year to you, my friend.Mad Padrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00410143683610813671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7541855965348525624.post-8068104140002556942012-01-07T21:49:05.870+01:002012-01-07T21:49:05.870+01:00@ Monty: I never felt the slight interest on the p...@ Monty: I never felt the slight interest on the period, until I read Charlie Don't Surf, the Vietnam-era rules published by the TooFatLardies. The game system hooked me from the very first moment and I've been specially enjoying playing the Vietcong. They usually end up defeated from the military standpoint, but winners of the game thanks to the rules considering some key political aspects in the game (killing of civilian population, capturing Free World soldiers, escaping unharmed from the table towards the friendly line of communication). I strongly recommend gatting the CDS firstAnibal Invictushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00574972963418062956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7541855965348525624.post-15974460639858323432012-01-07T18:26:42.429+01:002012-01-07T18:26:42.429+01:00You enjoy the best of both worlds!
