Winter is coming...

Another of my "view from my window" series. The mountains of the Sierra de Guadarrama hidden by thick clouds and already cover by the first blanket of snow this year. Temprature is not expected to break the 10ºC level today. Winter is finally coming...

Where on earth is spring????

Is this May 19th in Madrid? Seriously? The weather is appalling!!! Freezing actually, with temperatures not breaking 10º C at midday, falling to 3º- 4º C at night and snowing AGAIN in the mountains. Sorry for the ramble, but I'm totally depressed, it seems that this year's winter has no end.

Gaming wise I've been playing consistently Chain of Command over the past few weeks but no painting and little precious time to write the blog. Too busy with an Executives course at a Business School here and the launching of a new company (...cross fingers), as I could not find a new job after resigning from my previous company.

The View from my Window

A beautiful autumn morning early this week and after a very rainy October and November. I thought it was time to update one of my "view from my window" ocasional series of photos. The first snows of the season fell in the mountains at the back, although the unexpected rise in temperature midweek have melted the white cover away.

It (almost) smells Christmas already...

The View from My Window (II)

Who would have guessed that the pre-summer weather we enjoyed until last week was to turn to gray, overcast and stormy?  Even snow fell in the nearby mountains, almost for the first time this year. So, what best plan for the Easter holidays than to stay at HOME, reading Matterhorn  (a most excellent Vietnam war novel), eating some torrijas (our Spanish typical seasonal Lent sweet)...
